Is there a way to filter epics out of my scrum board based on the status??

There is a field for epics called "Epic Status" if I set this field on "Done" then epics won't show. But I would like to base it on the status field, the one that is common for all issues. I want to select an specific status in which only the issue type "Epic" is not shown on the board. 

So for example if I have a status called "In PM" I do not want this epics that are in this status to be shown on the board, but other issue types with that status should be shown. Is that possible?

I though that I could have an specific JQL formula for my board, any suggestion?
