I see you normally use CSV export or automation for this kind of work, but it would be much easier if I can just bulk edit and copy its values to itselves.
Hi @정영환
If I am understanding you correctly, you could do that with an Automation Rule. It would be something like in my example below. Try it out with the JQL in the Scheduled trigger to be just one issue key, to make sure it works as planned. Then you can do a broader JQL.
After you get everything done and click on the Update. Then you can click on the 3 dots to the right of that and choose Run rule now.
Hi @정영환
unfortunately Jira's bulk editing wizard can't do that. Apart from Automation or CSV-import-based approaches, there are also apps available in the Atlassian Marketplace that can help with this.
E.g., if a Marketplace app is an option for you, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also support bulk editing via copy/paste, like so:
This works within JXL, but also between JXL and pretty much any other app (like e.g. Excel or Google Sheets), for any number of fields and issues in one action - so you should be done with your work in no time. I should also add that JXL can do much more than that: From support for configurable issue hierarchies, to issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
