Is there a way to add a marker on a date in the next-gen Roadmap?

For example, I wish to add a marker (maybe like the "Today" marker line) for when a release is planned for, so that I can see all the Epics that will finish before that release.

When using the Roadmap on a next-gen project, currently, it's not possible to add markers. There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Add markers or milestones to roadmap
