Is there a difference for how Log Time and Log Work is stored in the database?

We are using the open JIRA API to transfer our teams loged hours from JIRA to our ERP system with help of an RPA.

We find that we lose a lot of hours in the transfer.

One of the reasons we are investigating is if using "Log Time" and "Log Work" results in different entities in the database and that our RPA only picks up one of them.

How is the time entered in the promt for "Log Time" and "Log Work" in JIRA stored?

What we pick up today for the transfer is [Hours].

Grateful for help.
