Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to restrict certain Views on a Jira Product Discovery Roadmap Project from being shown to Contributors.
For example:
On my Jira Product Roadmap, I have the following Views available:
Views: | Permissions: |
All Ideas | Restricted to Creators |
Technology Work Proposal | Open to Contributors |
Product Roadmap | Restricted to Creators |
Project Timeline | Open to Contributors |
Is it possible to provide the permissions I stated next to the Views above so I can control what the business see.
I ask this as I am testing out the functionality of the "Create Ideas" Form, however when I shared the form with a contributor and they opened it, they were able to create their ideas and then they seemed to be able to see all the views in the views list on the left and was able select and view them.
Any help on this would be great.
Hi @Jack Young
There isn't really a way to limit the permissions based on the feature usage in JPD projects.
The permissions are project based, not feature based.
More on permissions can be found here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/view-permissions/
