I am pulling data from a Jira project into smartsheet and would like to be able to pull the "Last Comment" for each ticket. Is this possible and how would I set it up?
this won't answer your question, but I thought might be interesting regardless:
My team and I are working on a Marketplace app named JXL for Jira, a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that runs directly within Jira. JXL allows you viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering by all your issue fields, including a number of "smart fields" that aren't otherwise available, including the "Last comment" (along with many other comment-related fields).
This is how this looks in action:
With many advanced features such as support for issue hierarchies and grouping, sum-ups, and conditional formatting, many of our customers use JXL as an alternative or even replacement of Smartsheet across their organisation.
You may already know that you can trial every app for free for one month (and depending on the size of your site, it may be free forever). If the above looks interesting to you, it might be worth a try to see if perhaps JXL can solve your use case.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
Does JXL help in multi-project road mapping for each issue-status?
like the last comment of that issue and status start date and end date...
