Hello,

Hope you are doing well!!

I have a Jira (server) application and it has huge amount of data.

I am looking for the ways to export the compelte Jira data including projects, issues and workflows.

I am aware how to export the issues from the Issue filter but looking for exporting projects and workflows too.

Also will it be possible to import the same exported data back in Jira ?

Thanks you !!

Configuration Manager is the most popular solution for this.

If "readable" means "human readable", then you may want to try Glass Project Documentation which produces a very visual presentation of your configuration details.

You can create a full system backup (minus attachments) by going to System > Backup jira data.

It'll save content and setup of the Jira system in an XML format (does not include attachment files), it can be used to a restore or migrate a system -- Keep in mind restoring that XML replaces the system setup, so do not restore that on a different active instance.

If you're looking to take a backup or snapshot of a single project. You'd need to look at an app. Personally, I use Configuration Manager for Jira by Appfire.
