I have been asked to look into a dashboard or some other reporting option for customers to be able to see things that are being worked on, without giving them the ability to browse projects or view issues in their entirety. The view would be something more along the lines of a kanban board where a selected number of fields per issue would be shown, so that users could see what's being worked on and where it is in the flow. (though this does not need to be a kanban board)
My understanding is that in order to see issue data you must have the browse project option, which then allows users to go in and see everything.
Is there a way to do this as I've been asked?
Hi,
Please check out:
This app allows you to share reports with external customers via publishing.
Documentation: http://kb-reports.aioreports.com/
Thanks so much! I'll have a look!

Hi Rob, that is correct. You might check out various addons in the marketplace but I’m not personally familiar with any. Maybe EasyBI? Or consider connecting to MS PowerBI or simply leverage export and Excel. There is a free extension for Excel tha would allow you to query directly from Excel and then build your own charts.

Hi,
as mentioned above, you can create reports in eazyBI and use publishing via iframe to show the report to non-jira users, see more about this option here - https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybijira/publish-reports/dashboards-and-reports-visible-to-non-jira-users
best,
