Is it possible to add more Epic colours?

I see the answer from a few years ago is now invalid.

I have a few more epics than there are colours and it would be great to give them all a unique colour

I'm afraid the choice of colors are now limited. There's a feature request for this is logged here - JSWSERVER-12334 - and it's currently In Progress. Please add yourself as a watcher there to receive new updates.

It doesn't look like much progress has been made, the last activity was 2016.

Will there be more colours or the ability to do HEX colours?

Hey Mandy, 

The status change to 'In Progress' was done earlier this month and we're looking to release the feature similar to what is available in JIRA Software Cloud, which is to increase the options of colours.

Ah I think I'm on JIRA Cloud, thats where you host it right?

It only has 14 colours (ghx-label-14) and I need a few more, so nothing being changed for this? I can't put my own HEX code in?
