Is it possible to Create a New Issue 30 days after an Issue is resolved?

We have request from a project that requires a new issue to be created (it would be a followup) 30 days after a ticket is closed. They would like a new issue that is related to the parent and an email notification that it was created. FYI - We do have Power Scripts addon

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The ability to automatically create a new linked issue when an issue has been closed for 30 days is not something you can achieve using only JIRA Application, however, there are some apps that provide you with this functionality.

I was able to achieve it using the Automation lite for JIRA Cloud (free for 300 executions) with the following rule:

Basically, the rule above would run once in the day and create a new linked issue for all the issues that were closed 30 days ago.
