Trying to export more than 1000 issues to CSV but can't figure out the new instruction "
New asynchronous experience:" I have followed the instructions below from this link
Go to the 'Network' tab, select 'Fetch/XHR'
Enter views in the filter.
Next, refresh the page and select the Export dropdown menu.
Copy the URL from the link field of the corresponding export option in the ‘Preview' tab - but stock here can figure what I am to do here.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Hi @Kay Kalu welcome to the Community!
You can just copy the link on Export button (it should end with tempMax=1000)
and add &pager/start=1000
to the end of it.
However, I am usually using the Google Docs to export issues. On Issue filtering screen, click to "Apps" and select "Open in Google Sheets".
And Voila, all of these issues are waiting for you in the same Excel sheet :)
Hi @Salih Tuç I was able to do this up on till last week when Jira made Excel export asynchronous so me right clicking the link doesn't bring up clink to copy.

Hi @Kay Kalu ,
If you are familiar with Python, I created following script for you, in order to export your JQL query to Excel file (xlsx format): GitHub Link

@Kay Kalu You can just use the Better Excel Exporter app.
It will go way above 1000 issues without any configuration or manual work!
(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)

Hi @Kay Kalu
You can use the Jira Cloud for Excel plugin to achieve this.
It's free of cost and availabile out of the box.https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221301/jira-cloud-for-excel-official?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
Similar solution is available for Google Sheets but I haven't had the chance to try that out yet.

If not this, then when you search for an issue in the All Issues search you'll get the option to export to excel or Google.
