Incorrect Time Estimate Categorization in Jira Backlog View

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue in my Jira Company-managed project while reviewing estimates in the Backlog view for a future sprint.

Even though some of my issues are in the "To Do" or "New" status, the estimated time is incorrectly appearing under "In Progress" instead of "To Do". You can see this behavior in the attached screenshot.

I've checked my board configuration, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hello @anuj_patel 

The three lozenges summarizing the estimates do not correspond the the Status Categories of the issues.

• The gray lozenge summarizes the estimates for all issues in the column farthest to the left on the board.
• The green lozenge summarizes the estimates for all issues in the column farthest to the right on the board.
• The blue lozenge summarizes the estimates for all issues in the remaining columns on the board.

If the New status is not mapped to the left-most column or right-most column, then estimates for those issues will be included in the blue lozenge.
