Importing Workflows from Visio (.vsdx) to Jira

Hi,

We are currently migrating our ticketing system to Jira and trying to figure out how to import/convert the Visio files into Jira compatible xml files. Currently our workflows are in Visio (.vsdx) format. I tried unzipping the .vsdx files to extract the xml files but they are broken down into multiple xml files and I could not find a straight forward way to generate one xml file. There seems to be a third party plugin in Jira which I am not too keen on using.

Has anyone figured out a way to import Visio(.vsdx) based WorkFlows into Jira. They are quite complex so redoing them in Jira is our last resort.
