Import attachments with csv file protocol

fhatton July 24, 2013

Hi,

I have to import issues from a Jira 5.x to a project in jira 6.x, i can import issues to this project, it's ok. I know we have to use the "File protocol" for CSV import, it works fine.

Ii tested it with something like 15 attachments. So, i just added them to the csv file and in the new directory one by one by hand.

But we have +1500 issues to import in this project and I don't know how many attachments have to be imported.

I think it's not so hard to complete the csv file but I'm wondering if there is a way to add attachments in the csvimport file automatically and just the good ones? I mean I won't add all the attachments in our new Jira and it would be clumsy to find one by one which one have to be import.

Maybe I'm not using the good way to do it so I ask you ;)

I hope you understand what I mean.

Best regards, Fred.
