Apparently there's a new feature that shows the content of referenced tickets in comments, like a box (an iframe), and this is breaking the visualization of our comments, as we reference other tickets a lot in comments. It seems this was automatically enable when we migrated from Jira Standard to Premium. Is there a way to turn this off??
Hi @Jobson Martins and welcome to the Community!
Are you referring to a box somewhat like this:
If so, this is a smart link. It has nothing to do with standard or premium - my example is coming from a free site. It is also not a very new feature, but something that does exist on cloud and not on Data Center, e.g.
While initially this has been a feature that had quite a bit of opposition, it has matured and offers a lot of benefits too. Depending on the source of the link, it may allow you to interact with the linked content without the need to click through on it.
While Jira automatically converts a link (or an issue key) to a smart link, you can control how it is displayed.
When I edit my comment and click on the smart link, I can then choose how it is displayed:
Hope this helps!
If Walter's suggestions don't help you, can you provide a screenshot of what you see?
