Identify delay in releases after the release.

Santhosh R Bhat December 11, 2022

Hi,

I m using Jira Cloud.

Problem:

Is it possible to set "Baseline Start Date", "Baseline Release Date", "Actual Start Date" and "Actual Release Date" for a release.

Use case:

In the project, I have 4 releases with initial planned dates as below.

R1 (start date-01-Jan-22, Release date-31-Jan-22),

R2 (St. Date: 01-Feb-22, Rel. date-28-Feb-22),

R3(St date- 01-Mar-22, Rel. Date-31-Mar-22),

R4(St. Date-01-Apr-22, Rel. Date-30-Apr-22).

During the execution lets considered the delays in the releases.

R1 got delayed and got released on 03Feb22 instead of 31Jan22. (3 days delay)

R2 got delayed and got released on 05Mar-22 instead of 28-Feb-22. (5 days delay)

Now I m working on say R3.

How to get the above kind of portfolio view.

The moment I release R1, the release date automatically set as 03Feb22. There is no provision to see the initial baseline Release date.

Please let me know if there is any solution for this.

Solution Tried:

Installed "Structure" plugin and added generators to get the view. But there also I could not get the solution. (I m new to structure plugin).
