I want to assign a story to a different epic. There is NO "Edit" button. Anywhere.

I have read the various posts about just select the Edit button. There is NO edit button. Truly. There is no pencil icon that magically displays when you hover. Truly. I am an administrator, so I have the power to add this action somewhere, if only I know how. (If only I still had the on-prem Jira. Boo hoo.)

Hi @Laurie H ,

to change a value in a field click on the field. You can delete the current epic link and enter the new one.

Thank you. I did finally figure it out. The doc should read: 'whatever you do, don't click ON the epic name; click in the empty space to the right of it'. So much for intuitive design.  ;-)
