I previously hid my Epic Panel and now I cant unhide it

Jira Team-Managed Site Backlog View

I previously hid my Epic Panel and now I cant unhide it

enabling the version-panel works

enabling the Epic panel from drop down marks as "enabled" but UI wont display the panel

shift refresh loads the panel and immediately hides it

 

I have cleared my cache/cookies/history

 

Please help

 

PS: the ONLY options i have from "..." = custom filters

Determined this was NOT an issue solely occurring in my instance of Jira. it has since resolved. Unsure what happened

yes. i have toggled epic panel from the epic drop down in the same way i toggled version panel from the version drop down. toggling version reveals the panel, toggling epic does nothing

 

attempted in chrome and safari (on a mac)

the panel was showing previously - i hid it to enable more real estate for editing task details and now can't get it to come back

Since you are on a paid plan, and because what you are experience is not an expected behaviour I would suggest that you open a request on Atlassian support directly. However I would suggest again that you have excluded certain possibilities for your problem:

  • Search if other users are experiencing the same issue
    • If yes, which browsers and OS are they using?
  • Try another computer
  • Try another internet connection

Especially the later, if it's using firewall it could cause some errors and incorrect behaviour.
