I need to update the total story points in a closed sprint

I closed a sprint and later discovered an issue that was never accepted for the closed sprint.   I then accpected the story in the current sprint and did a bulk update to change the sprint but the issue is still showing up under the "Issues Not Completed" section and I am not receiving credit for the story points in that sprint.   How do I get credit for the story points in that sprint?

I'm afraid you don't - as far as JIRA is concerned, it wasn't dealt with in that sprint.
