I have a system dashboard that looks fine when I login, but I want it to be public viewable

Lewis Pringle April 28, 2022

This dashboard - https://stroika.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards/10000

works GREAT when I'm logged in.

But when I view the same page in incognito mode (not logged in) - it just displays errors.

I went to the page

https://stroika.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards

to try to make it publicly viewable - and it says "Viewers" "Public".

What am I doing wrong, or is this feature just broken?

Hi  @Lewis Pringle ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

A dashboard can be display as you are suggesting, however based on the permissions and groups of each user and amount of issues or others will be displayed.

If the you are not logged in and some of the issues are restricted or not publicly published, erros may be displayed to the dashboard

I kind of understood that, but I have no visibility into these other permissions. How do I make the jira database/tickets visible to other users.

NOTE - when connected as an anonymous user, I can still browse the database of jira issues - I just cannot use the dashboards.

OK - I got the pie chart working by setting the permissions on one of my filters.

BUt the Issues IN progress gadget and ActivityStreams gadget just dont show up at all.
