I'd like to know if there's a way to sort the timeline in Jira?

Hello,

I have created a project timeline where the latest creat_2025-02-25_10.42am.pnged EPIC is displayed first. I would like to sort this timeline based on the due date of each EPIC. Specifically, I want the EPIC with the nearest due date from today to appear at the top, and the one with the latest due date to be at the bottom.

Could you please suggest ways to achieve this? I would appreciate any guidance on how to implement this sorting functionality.

I am attaching the screenshot, please suggest me ways if this is feasible and how? Thanks in advance.

@Rutuja Patil

if you go to view settings, there in Sort by you have various columns (including due date) for sorting. see if this works for you

See this article if it helps you.
