the problem I am facing is that I am unable to link both applications from application link. The error shows invalid url if i change the url ut shows the applicatiom is offline.

Hi Saquib,

There's a few things you need to look at here:

  • The URLs you are giving it are invalid.  This error message can occur
    • when the URL contains invalid characters, it's literally not a valid URL
    • when the server cannot resolve the URL to an address (what happens when you try it in a browser, or better, go onto the server command line and try wget <the url>)
  • Application offline is down to having a valid URL, but
    • there is no response from the server
    • the server sends back an invalid response

The first and easiest test is to put the URL into your browser and see what that says.  As Sanjin mentions, the URL you should use is the base URL of the target service, which is where humans would go to access that service (imagine the one you are putting the application link into is another user using it in a browser)

Hi @Saqib Dar ,

Welcome to Atlassian community !

Please check the base url from the both system >>general configuration , What is configured in the Jira and conflunece.?

Same try to add in the application links.
