I am unable to communicate with Jira through a Python script

Sachin Jadhav January 5, 2025

20 days ago, I was able to communicate with Jira, but now I am unable to. I used my username and password for authentication, which I had used previously as well, but it's not working now. However, I can still log in and use the Jira website with the same credentials.

Hello @Sachin Jadhav

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What error message do you get?

Are you using the Jira Cloud product or Jira Data center?

Sachin Jadhav January 6, 2025

I am using  Jira cloud product :JIRA v7.3.6

not able to fetch jira through python script

If you found that version number in your Jira product then you are using Jira Server or Jira Data Center, not Jira Cloud.

Is "not able to fetch jira" the actual message you get? If not, please share the actual message. Also please share the line of code that is generating the message.
