I am project lead. How do I stop notification for every ticket creation?

We use JIRA on cloud. Recently I had the admin create a new project. When I go to the project, I see myself as "Project lead". Now, everytime a ticket is created, I get notification. How do I stop that?

Change the project lead to the person it should be, or have a look at the notification scheme.

Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-. While I don't know anthing about "notification scheme", I would tell my admin to remove me as project lead!

That is a better option :-)  The lead really should be the owner of the project!
