I am planning to enable guard and integrate Atlassian with Microsoft Azure AD

When i perform the AD integration , what will happen to the exisitng native users and the associated tasks ?

Secondly my understanding is once i enable Guard and integrate with AD , the bill will be calculated for the users that flow via integration to Atlassian ... please advise

There will be no impact on your users.

You must first verify your domain and configure the claims to be able to link your domains to your authentication policies that will be used by guard.

Guard licenses are calculated separately. Be careful, Trello users (free plan) and who do not have an Atlassian product (for example Jira Software) will be counted in your guard users.
