I am having issues with configuring an email handler to create tickets or add comments

I am recieving an error message that looks like this (shown below) when trying to test my configured email handler. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

I found this article that mentions this issue for on-prem Jira connecting to MSFT Office email services, but I wonder if it will also provide you with some hints and insights:

IMAP fails with A3 BAD User is authenticated but not connected error

I hope it helps. If it doesn't, and if someone else doesn't respond with a better answer, you may want to open a support ticket with Atlassian instead.
