In most bug-trackers if someone write's a comment to an issue that I either started (reporter) or am the assignee, I will see it. That's fine and works the way I want, but when I add a comment to an issue, whether I'm the assignee or the reporter, I don't want to be notified. It's just a duplication. I already know what I said in the comment.
Since my collaborators feel the same. how do I preclude notifications from going out to the same people who added a comment? Can't be that difficult, but I don't see it anywhere.
Go to your profile and uncheck 'Notify for Own changes' option.
Thanks, John. That should do it. Now I can properly set up the default the way I want it.

Bart
