Hi, I created a Jira Project with the KanBan Template. But I feel like it's already unclear and gives no good overview after adding like 20 tasks.
Is it possible to view all tasks in this project as a simple list / table with columns? I think this would be way better. Sadly I see no option to toggle the view or create a new view.
Hi @Timo Hausmann ,
Via Filters -> Advanced issue search is it possible to search in all your issues and so create a filter for the issues in your jira project.
Is this the functionality you are looking for?
And see this documentation of Atlassian

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much!
I would love to have this as a menu point in the side bar, but I can live with it under "Filters" aswell.

Hi @Timo Hausmann ,
In the left-bar of your jira-project you can create a shortcut to, for example a filter or a dashboard.

@Hannes Obweger - JXL for Jira
I was trying something similar and came across JXL. I have issues from 2 boards on the sheet and would like to group statuses similar to what the Kanban board does. Kanban Example:
How can we achieve something similar with JXL grouping? The only thing that comes to mind right now is a custom field for "JXL Status group" that is populated by a global automation based on a complex set of rules for each status. That would be better maintainable if that grouping could be some JQL right on the JXL board.

Hi @Timo Hausmann,
welcome to the community!
Just regarding your point of

- if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, I believe you'd like the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/list view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. JXL sheets are accessible from the project sidebar, and can be powered by any JQL statement - meaning that you can easily model your Kanban board as a list view.
This is how it looks in action:
Apart from the "spreadsheet basics" as shown above, JXL also comes with a wide range of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
