Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way to have ‘to be reviewed’ fall into the blue category in Jira?

(It was blue but has been updated recently to Gray) Thanks in advance.

Hi @Ting Chuang Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The status colours refer to status categories - To Do (Grey), In Progress (Blue) and Done (Green)

You can follow the below steps to change the Status category if you have admin rights on the instance.

  1. Go to Jira Settings > Issues > Statuses (on the left-hand menu)
  2. Press Edit next to the status you want to change the category for
  3. Change the Category and press Save

Bu remember that this is global change and not a workflow specific.

Thanks

Note that making this change will impact the use of that status in all Company Managed projects.

If you happen to be working with a Team Managed project you change the status category in a different manner. Go to Project Settings > Issue Types, then select an issue type and click the Edit Workflow button. Then click on the status you want to change, and change the category in the panel on the right.
