Hi!
Am new to this community and confiforms!
Ive created a form with a list of questions/options and used radio buttons for number selection: 1, 2 and 3
How do I unselect a number from question/option 1, so no numbers are selected?
So for example: for QN/Option 1, if I picked a radio button with the number 1 next to it but decide i want want to untick it later on.. How would I do that?
Is there a rule that I need to use? if so, what is the rule pls?
Or is there a better option for my form?
thank you
Tracy~
Hi @Tracy Zhu and welcome to this community
Is this question is about radio group fields in ConfiForms plugin? Sounds like it, but I want to be sure
Alex
Hey Alex,
I think so? I'm still quite new at this, so a bit unsure about plugins..
I chose radio group with 3 options to choose from. Named the buttons 1, 2 and 3
The user is able to choose either 1, 2 and 3. But I want them to be able to unselect the number they've chosen, so all 3 options are blank .
Does that make sense? Hope It does!
Thanks for replying

Is it about Confluence page and some macros on it? The question seems to be tagged as the one for Jira... but you have mentioned "ConfiForms" in your first comment. Which is a plugin for Confluence we develop and support... I am a bit confused...

Hi Alex,
Not sure why it was tagged as Jira! This is a question purely about confiform!
Basically, I used radio group buttons and Im unable to deselect a button if Ive made a mistake. So my qn is that, is there a way to deselect a radio button is a mistake is made?
:)
Thank you

Hi
This is what I was referring to
Anyway, in ConfiForms the radio group item, when selected - cannot be deselected. Same as a normal radio group field in the browser.
ConfiForms just follows the default browser's behaviour of the radio group field

Oh right! I'll make sure to tag it properly next time.
Thank you so much for replying and providing the answer.
Will need to look at different options next time :)
Cheers

May be the form can be re-arranged a bit with something like this - a separate field that could be used for resetting the values
