Hi all, I have created a Kanban board for my project, and set up the Kanban Backlog on the board.  In Column Management, I have enabled the backlog as highlighted and added statuses into it.

However, when I actually navigate to the Kanban board, I cannot see the "Kanban backlog" column.

How can I show the "Backlog" column next to Assigned?  Is this possible?

Or shall I just create a custom column and ignore the "Kanban Backlog" functionality?

Hey @Phoebe Lynn

With the current way you've set this up, every ticket in status 'To Do', 'Open', 'On Hold', 'In Progress', 'Require More Info' , etc will appear in the 'Backlog' tab. See highlighted in the screenshot attached

- This 'Backlog' tab essentially allows you to triage/sort 'Backlog' tickets before pushing them through to your Kanban board

Here's some more info on how Backlogs work in Jira Cloud:

If you would prefer not to use this functionality, you can always (like you've already mentioned) create a custom Column called 'Backlog', then drag and drop all the relevant statuses ('To Do', 'Open', 'On Hold', 'In Progress', 'Require More Info' , etc) there, then this would appear on the Kanban board,

Hope this helps!

Many thanks!  Sort of thought as much, but thought I would ask :)
