Hi Kindly help me to fix this.
For Example, I have one project with key value Pro. So when customer raise support issue, it generate Pro-1 and if customer raise development issue i want it to generate Dev-1.
If possible how to do that.
Hi @kesavan s
If i understand correctly you want to configure a single project with multiple keys, right? if that is the case, you are not going to be able to achieve that, because a project can only have 1 key.
If you want to distinguish issues in the project you can use issue types, labels, components, custom fields, etc.
Hope this helps!
As Carlos states it would not be possible to have two separate keys, but i am guessing that you want to do this due to allow your devteam to work on the issue, this is what I would using Jira Servicedesk for customer interactions and Jira Software for the dev team.
Pro would be a servicedesk project and dev would be whatever else you want but guessing a Scrum/Kanban project.
You would then use the automation function in Jira Servicedesk, Create a custom rule looking something like this:
That would allow you to have a connection between the two issues and let your dev team work on the feature, you could also close the ticket to the users initial feature request with a closing remark such as "moved to development, follow feature request progress at Dev-1" if you had the feature requests as an open project.
