I am hoping someone may know the best way to do this. our team currently uses Jira for weekly task management. When tasks for that week have not been completed, we are manually allocating all tasks to the next week.
Is there a way to automate this process?

How are you "allocating a task" to a given week? Are you setting the Due Date field, the Start date field, ...?

We have a field called team standup week which we allocate tasks to for that particular week (for example if a task was commencing next week it would be the week of 1 July 2024). When we get to the end of that week, if the task is not completed we then add it manually to the following week by adding 8 July 2024 to the team standup week field.
However, with this field, we are having to manually select the next week to allocate each task to when they are continuing on. So we are looking for a way to automate this so if a task is not complete in that week, it will automatically carry over the the next week
