I'm trying to setup Creating issues and comments from email
Please let me know if it's possible to set the priority via email.
The built-in mail handler try to map the email's priority with the priority set in Jira.
If match then "If the incoming email is set to a high priority, the corresponding issue will be created with a higher priority than the default priority that is set in your JIRA sys"
Not all mail clients have the ability to set a priority, but when they do, it should work as Raffaele describes.
