We have introduced status called 'VERIFIED' which is set when the testing verifies the issue. We want to capture the date whenever status of the JIRA ticket is changed to 'VERIFIED'. I have tried creating a custom field with 'Date' format but there is no option to update it automatically. request any guidance. Thanks in advance
Hi @Vishnu Murthy Chakka you can use Automation (https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation) with following configuration
1. replace status "Resolved" (status in my workflow) with "VERIFIED" status
2. replace "Due Date" with your created "Date" field
