Hi, I am looking to run a worklog report for all the individual people in our business. We track all our time against issues and want to see the time breakdown and therefore % splits each person has across all their issues. The issues are organised into sprints and epics so in the report/data we would need to the see the sprint and epic each issue is in too within that report.
Our ideal result is for example:
Across X time period User A spent 30% on of their time on Epic 1, 20% on Epic 2 etc.
Hello @josh
Unfortunately, Jira doesn't do well when it comes to time reporting per user or any other criteria than Jira issues. There are, however, many time tracking and time reporting apps available on the Atlassian Marketplace, that can help you achieve exactly what you need.
One of the available options is Worklogs - Time Tracking and Reports that we have developed. Here's a screenshot showing how the example report can look like. You can display various users and aggregate the time by epics, sprints, or essentially any other Jira issue field available on your instance.
Best,
Sebastian

Hi, here is a popular, best and free alternate not just for worklog generation, but is bundled with lot more cool features which includes Estimate vs Logged time, Extracting report based on user groups, etc.
Jira Assistant for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jira-assistant-worklog-sp/momjbjbjpbcbnepbgkkiaofkgimihbii

Even best thing is, their is no need of any admin permission. Any user can easily install and start using it right a way.
I came across it by chance and using it from past 2 years. Its definitely worth a try.
