Hi
We deleted by mistake a project in Jira (cloud version) and we would need to restore it.
Could you please let me know how we can do it?
Thanks
You can restore from a backup if cloud provides it. HOWEVER, the restore will OVERWRITE all the current data. So anything you've done since the deletion will be gone. The other option is to restore to a different instance of JIRA and use the Project Management tool (paid) from the marketplace. both instances of JIRA must be the same release. Deleting anything is a bad idea because restoring anything from a backup and overwriting current data is the only solution. The project management tool will work with projects, but not issues, fields, workflows, etc.
Hi @Jorge Trigo ,
you can do that if you have a backup. If you do not have a backup, then you're lost.

Hi @Jorge Trigo
Once you delete something in Jira you have lost that data forever be it issues, attachments or any of the configuration objects.
Thats what inspired us at Revyz to build an app for simplifying backing up your cloud Jira instance which includes issues, attachments, comments, configuration objects and more.
We can also go back point in time and restore as new or update existing objects to what they were at that point in time.
Please visit our market place page to see all things we can help you with protecting your data in your Jira cloud instance - Revyz Backup & Restore
Additional information is also available at - Revyz Backup & Restore for Jira Software Cloud
Also note Atlassian recommends that you backup your data per the SaaS Shared responsibilities
I would love to get your feedback on what we are doing and how to improve given an opportunity.
Thank you
Vish
