How to restore Service Desk from MySQL dump ?

Deleted user January 18, 2019

Hello,

I work in a small company, we are currently in the process of changing our virtual infrastructure. Yesterday after the migration of the virtual machine containing Jira Service Desk, the storage bay crashed and the VM (and snapshot) was destroyed.
The only thing I have in my possession is a MySQL dump of the Jira service Desk database before the crash, but no data or other directory.
How can I restore this database to a clean installation? To at least get the tickets without the attachments.

Thank you in advance
Greetings

Hi @[deleted],

Just set up the new Service Desk instance and then import your dump into that database.
