The Source and Review tabs only appear on the View Issue page if you have FishEye/Crucible configured and linked up to that project. You can change this configuration here - /secure/admin/ViewFishEyeConfig.jspa

Alternatively, if you have an Evaluation or Starter licence and haven't done anything with FishEye/Crucible at all yet, you may see these tabs there, containing information about how to set up Fe/Cru. If that's what you're seeing, there's a link in the tab to make them go away forever.

Penny - is there a way we can control who can see this tab? we want to setup crucible/fisheye for our development projects but want to eliminate this field for client-facing project. Thoughts?

Eva, only users with the "View Source" (or similar name, can't remember right now) can see those tabs. So generally the clients for your client-facing projects wouldn't have the Developer role. Or you could create a permission scheme that specifically excludes clients from that permission.

Commenting on what Penny said: "

This means that each user has to do this, since it seems a per-user configuration.

I have set the "View Version Control" in the permission scheme to no one, nevertheless both tabs ("Source" and "Reviews") remain visible.

I need these 2 tabs hidden for all users since we don't plan to install either "fisheye" or "Crucible" in the near future.

Any help?

thanks!

Jacques.
