How to manage iOS and Android tickets in Jira to avoid duplicate tickets

Problem: I am a PM and in my team (same Jira project) with iOS and Android developers we have to always create a duplicate Android ticket for each iOS ticket we create because:

- They have separate releases

- They have different assignees

- They might have different statuses (ie one is still in progress while the other is in QA)


However this is a problem because:

- We have to create duplicate tickets every time (time-consuming, and we forget to do it sometimes, creating planing issues) 

- Maintain duplicate tickets (making sure when info on 1 ticket changes this has to be replicated to the other ticket)


Has anyone encountered a solution for this?
