Hello,
We have a company-managed business project. Could please guide me where can I adjust the fields that are displayed for the issues filtering on the list view?
Kind regards,
Olha
Hello @Lesyk_Olha
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You cannot choose which fields are available there. That area will automatically display the custom fields that are supported for filtering in that specific view.
What change do you want to make to that area?
Hello @Trudy Claspill ,
Thank you for your fast reply! Is there any link to the documentation where explained what fields are supported for filtering in that specific view? Point is that we have 2 more custom fields (Participant Assignee and Tester) and I was interested if we could add them there the same way as filter by Assignee is placed in that area. Or if we don't need filter by New Due Date (our custom field) if we could remove it from that area and so on.
Kind regards,
Olha

Hello,
Thank you very much. As I can see from the documentation user picker is supported for filtering in company-managed projects
But unfortunately it's available for filtering only under the "Issues"
But missing under the Filter on the List view
So, is that a bug or do you have any other additional restrictions or do I miss some settings?
Regards,
Olha

Hi @Lesyk_Olha
if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.
Plus, filters can simply be set directly on the columns of your sheet, like so:
Of course, this works for standard fields as well as any custom fields.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Hello @Hannes Obweger - JXL for Jira
Thank you for your solution. I will check that. But I would like to understand the built-in Jira functionality before extend that. So, I will wait for the answer from the Atlassian support before looking the alternative solutions.
Kind regards,
Olha
