How to give access to Jira projects for another Company users?

Deborah Schroder August 17, 2022

We have some projects that are developed in partnership with our Customers and we´d like to give this external users access to directly updtate the taks of their responsability in JIRA board.

We tried to invite them, but it´s not workking

The error message is "user account xxx@vale.com from identity provider https://sts.windows.net/ YYYY does not exist in tenant "Valia" and cannot access the application..."

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need to add those people you want to your Jira and give them access (which chews up a licence for each one)

At the moment, your Cloud site is hooked up to an identity provider that does not have the emails of your customers added to it.  You'll need to talk to your user managers to get them added.
