Hi @Swati_Mathapati , thanks for your question.

Please check out the documentation here - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/advanced-workflow-configuration-938847443.html

Basically, in the workflow configuration, you can do things like create a condition based on a project role so that only people from a certain project role can see and therefore enact / use the transition -

Hope this helps.

Hi @Valerie Knapp I believe you're no answering the OP's question. I'm in the same boat, I would like to figure out in which workflow a certain project role is referenced without having to open/edit all workflows and checking validators/conditions, etc.

Ideally, I'm looking for some SQL (Jira Data Center) that provides this info. been looking around for a couple of hours ...

Hi @Swati_Mathapati , @Luís GÓIS , to see where Project Roles are used, there is a section in the Jira product settings here -

At the top, you can see in which Permission schemes the role is used. Towards the bottom, if the role is used in workflows, you will see that reflected too.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
