How to get input from screen during transition using API?

I'm trying to create a workflow validator using Forge, but I can't find information on how to get the values entered on the screen during the transition, specifically the values of the Components field. I'm using /rest/api/3/issue/${issueKey}, but the values specified on the screen during the transition are not there :(
