Hi,
We are looking for a way to find the TEAM that resolved an issue. Here is the case:
An issue goes through analysis, RESOLUTION, deployment, and verification.
The last team to touch the issue is the one doing verification, so at the end of their life cycle, all the closed issues would be 'assigned' to the verifying team.
The person whose name is in the Resolver field may belong to more than one TEAM, so this does not let us automatically find the Resolver's TEAM.
We could add another field for the 'Resolving Team' and make it mandatory upon resolution, but this would be yet another custom field, with all its negative effects.
The information is already there, I need a way to pull it:
what was the value of the field 'TEAM' when the 'RESOLUTION' changed from 'empty' to something? Or during a specific transition, when we pop up the RESOLUTION screen anyway.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Inna
Hi @Inna S
Unfortunately out of box, Jira does n't track historical values of custom fields and also not with relation to another field.
The workaround you posted would be the best bet.
