How to find/edit the velocity template in JIRA Cloud?

   W.r.t https://developer.atlassian.com/jiradev/jira-platform/jira-architecture/jira-templates-and-jsps/adding-custom-fields-to-email. I am stuck at Step 2. How/where to find and edit the template in JIRA cloud? Thanks.

Unfortunately it's not possible to edit the velocity template in JIRA Cloud, that would only be for server. What exactly are you trying to do?

I am trying to add a field to automate email forwarding to non JIRA users whenever JIRA item changes states.

It's not free, but the Email This Issue add-on sounds like it would fit your needs pretty well.
