How to display red dots after Nov 6?

It is with some worry I see that the new JIRA "enhancements" are going to be turned on for everyone come Nov 6. Unfortunately this new display hides the dots that show how long a ticket has been in a column on the kanban views.

This is potentially something of a disaster for our morning stand-ups, so is there a way to force the dots to show under the new scheme?

cheers

FYI... the red dots are not accurate due to a known issue with the weekends being counted even if you ask for them to be excluded.  Also, moving the issue from one column to the next resets the count; it's not cumulative time activecumulative time in the column (which, amazingly, is what it's called).

Therefore, we chose to use the Great Gadgets WIP Aging Chart.  That chart honors the exclusion of weekends, and it displays cumulative time in progress; it shows a scatter chart with dots in each board column; you can hover over each dot and see the details for each issue... including one metric showing how long the issue has been in progress... and it does not reset when the issue is moved from column to column.

I use this chart in our daily Kanban standups; I find it invaluable.  As a Control Chart is for understanding what happenedthe WIP Aging Chart helps you understand what is happening... you can take actions to address outliers and "call in reinforcements" before the issue is done.  IMHO, this is an indispensable tool.  Hope this helps...

Hi @David Rawlins -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That symptom is a known defect, and it appears it is about to start development.  To follow progress, please vote for / watch this item:

Hi @David Rawlins

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

Can you share the link where you read the red dots is set to disappear. I personally am a big fan of the feature in Scrum Board.

Cheers

Ajay

This is our kanban board.

When trying to do our morning stand-ups this week, people have been unable to see the red dots on the tickets unless we turned off the new features preview.
