How to delete a board and not the projects within

  1. Created a board and it took all the projects, need to delete this new board and preserve the existing projects. Appreciate all responses.

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

You can delete the board by going to Boards > Manage Boards and click on the ellipsis to the right of the board you want to delete.

You can go into Boards > View all Boards and delete it without fear of deleting any projects.  Jira treats boards and projects as separate entities and deleting one will not delete the other.

Move to your test instance and work there first

Back in staging you should be ok to delete the board.

Agile boards use saved Jira filters.
