Hey,
I am trying to achieve this:
1) When story is created -
- Create or clone as a new task (type QA story) (this one works)
- Assign new QA story to epic QA (Does not work, field parent I have no idea is works corretly)
- Create new subtasks (Manual tests) to the new tasks - it is only creating subtasks to the trigger one. When I try do separate automation to add subtasks to new created or clone issue - it does not work (it works when I create manualy QA tasks, but not when created by automation)
The create subtask action is based on the rule scope for which issue is "current".
To create the subtasks as children of the newly created, a branch is needed. For example:
Kind regards,
Bill
you will have to use the field "Parent" to add the Story to an Epic. It works the same as Epic link did before.
For the Sub-Task rule, it's correct to have it as a seperate rule. You need to allow the rule to be triggered by other rules. You find that checkbox under Rule Details.

It works :)
Only the case with parent - when I choose it from the list i see only option "current issue" and "Trigger issue". I cannot choose from the list epic I want, as it is in "epic link"
How should it work?

Click on the 3 dots next to the field and choose "SET" rather than "COPY".
