How to create a staging environment that mirrors the production environment for Jira cloud and what are the best practices?

I see from the forum that the best practice is to export the current Jira cloud instance and import the same by signing up to a new Jira instance?

Please suggest the alteranate/best way.

The forum posts you have found have given you the answer.

There is no alternative - a staging Cloud environment can only be another Cloud system, and the only way to populate it is to export and import.
